At COMEPASS, our vision is to provide English learning experiences that empower everyone to achieve their dreams. We believe that learning is not just about teaching methods but also about spreading value and making a meaningful impact on the community and society.

We understand that the cost of learning English, particularly IELTS preparation, can still be a financial burden for some students, even with a wide range of options available. To address this, the "5 for 1" Scholarship Program was created to offer opportunities for students in difficult circumstances to access IELTS courses.

For every 5 students who enroll in an official IELTS course, COMEPASS will award 1 scholarship worth 15 million VND to a deserving student who may face challenges but is eager to learn English. Through this program, COMEPASS hopes to contribute to the community and create long-lasting value for society.

COMEPASS was founded on the philosophy: "The fundamental difference between success and failure in learning English lies in this: proficient English learners quickly identify the core focus and effective learning methods." This principle has always been the driving force for Mr. Carlson, the CEO and Training Director of COMEPASS, throughout his career in education and training and the establishment of his English center.

🔹Extensive Teaching and Training Experience

Mr. Carlson's journey began with his deep passion for languages and teaching. He once served as Vice President of the English Club at the Youth Cultural Center, one of Ho Chi Minh City's most renowned and long-standing English clubs. Over the years, he has gained significant experience in training, curriculum design, and language instruction at numerous institutions, including: Outer Space Language School, Vietnam USA Society English Centers (VUS), Saigon International College (Vietnam-Australia International School), The Canadian International School, Maple Bear International Kindergarten, VMP Academy.

Mr. Carlson earned his Master's degree in Education from the University of Victoria (UVIC) in Canada. He currently works at ILAC International College (Canada) in recruitment, training, and teacher management.

In addition to training multiple generations of teachers, Mr. Carlson has extensive teaching experience with a wide range of learners, from children to students, adults, and corporate professionals. This has enabled him to develop tailored learning methods for each specific group of learners.

🔹From Recognizing Challenges to Founding COMEPASS

Having personally experienced the challenges of studying abroad, Mr. Carlson became acutely aware of a common struggle among many Vietnamese: the language barrier, particularly with English. This obstacle has hindered countless individuals from seizing opportunities for education, career advancement, and even immigration. Driven by his empathy and sense of responsibility as an educator, he founded COMEPASS as his most heartfelt initiative.

With his wealth of knowledge and experience, Mr. Carlson has guided hundreds of students to achieve remarkable progress, turning seemingly distant dreams into reality. The "fruits" of his efforts have become a source of motivation and belief, driving the growth of COMEPASS to continuously spread positive values to the community and inspire the next generation of Vietnamese learners.

THE CEO COMEPASS JOURNEY: FROM MULTINATIONAL CORPORATION MANAGER TO PASSIONATE YOUNG EDUCATOR

COMEPASS was founded on the philosophy: "The fundamental difference between success and failure in learning English lies in this: proficient English learners quickly identify the core focus and effective learning methods." This guiding principle has accompanied Mr. Trần Xuân Lĩnh throughout his journey from academic success and corporate achievements to the establishment of COMEPASS.

🔹From Multinational Corporations to Education

Hailing from the dreamy city of Da Lat, Mr. Trần Xuân Lĩnh holds two master's degrees: a Master of Science from IÉSEG School of Management and an MBA from CFVG School of Management. Upon returning to Vietnam, he pursued a career in marketing and earned a spot in the Management Trainee Program at Suntory PepsiCo. Over the years, he continued to thrive in marketing roles at major corporations such as: Frieslandcampina, Food Empire Singapore, Perfetti Van Melle Vietnam.

🔹A Turning Point, A New Vision

In August 2021, the Covid-19 pandemic disrupted the lives and careers of countless individuals in Vietnam. Amid these challenges, Mr. Trần Xuân Lĩnh discovered an essential truth: the only way to overcome adversity is by constantly improving ourselves to become better versions of who we are. Driven by compassion and a newfound awareness of education's transformative value, he decided to leave his role as Product Manager & E-commerce Manager at Perfetti Van Melle Vietnam to become a lecturer at Greenwich Vietnam. With his dedication to education, he quickly earned the admiration of students for his expertise, commitment, and humor. In addition to his teaching success, Mr. Lĩnh also served as a trainer and founder of impactful social enterprise development projects such as MOM&ME CARE and HEART, earning notable awards for social enterprise development during his time at Greenwich Vietnam.

Recognizing the unparalleled importance of English—gained through his years working in multinational environments—CEO Xuân Lĩnh is deeply passionate about equipping students with the skills and knowledge to enhance themselves. Whether pursuing dreams of studying abroad, immigrating to other countries, or advancing their careers, Mr. Lĩnh has directly taught and guided hundreds of students closer to their aspirations.

This passion became the driving force behind the establishment of COMEPASS, where he aims to instill a love for learning English and spread positive values to the broader community.
